LOGAN LUCKY, it would seem, is the caper film Steven Soderbergh made
instead of retiring as he'd announced. Critics were generally quite
pleased with it, but *this* Soderbergh fan had his high hopes mostly
dashed. After enduring a lot of actors I like doing doing broad -- and
flat -- hillbilly shtick as they plan their elaborate heist, the
subsequent, complex action itself left me feeling lost. Even worse,
I've since learned that I *wasn't*. Again, the critics were pretty well
enchanted by this flick, but from me it's only minimally recommended.
