THE BACHELORS: A 2017 film starring J. K. Simmons and Josh Wiggins as a
father and son duo looking to make a new start in a new city at an
expensive private all boys school; the dad as teacher and the son as
student. Julie Delpy plays another teacher at the school while Odeya
Rush plays a student at the girl's school counterpart to this school.
The most interesting part of this film is how it treats the subject of
psychiatric care. In the end, I'm still not sure if the film is
advocating that people seek treatment or trying to tell us a horror
story of what can happen. Whatever the case, this film has a level of
maturity that most films of this genre do not have. Worth watching.
