Wisconsin is #58 in strength of schedule, the worst of the teams being considered. Alabama has the
next easiest schedule, #41 in the country. Should a team with such a creampuff schedule get in?

Alabama does have the chance to play Auburn (currently the 11th toughest schedule) and then Georgia
(17th) so its SOS would rise a bit.

The current top 5 in terms of SOS:

Penn State
Ohio State

Notre Dame is 9th. Hey, even Oregon (35) has played a tougher schedule than Alabama!
