I guess my brother in law said it best when I asked him why he changed his mind and went with the
bmw i8 over the corvette zr/zo7(whatever the best one was at the time)- "well, yeah he may be able
to beat me at a stop light when we pull up, but he knows I could buy his car if I wanted to but he
can't buy mine"....

probably not the best reason to buy a car, but it's a factor nonetheless.
