Subject: BARGE newbie questions
Now that Raider Fan has threatened to beat the living shit out of me
should I go to BARGE because I pointed out he doesn't know what
"percentage" means, my curiosity is piqued. Can someone give me the
basics of BARGE? I know it's a gambling (not just Poker, right?) get-
together sometime in August and somewhere in Vegas. Is there a
website? Do I have to register? If so, how much?
Thank you for any information you can provide, and I look forward to
seeing some of you there!

The schedule is posted elsewhere, and the site is www.barge.org, but
the web site's info is for last year, The dates this year are 7/29-
8/3.
It'll look a lot like previous years in 2008.

Binion's: Sat, 08/02: Expanded Cash Game Roster @ 10:30pm.
As you can see, this year we are splitting events between Binion's and
the Nugget, with most gambling events being held at Binion's.
We will have a room block at Binion's, but due to the ownership
transfer, we don't have those arranged yet. We expect those
room rates to be comparable to last year's rates. As soon a
we have information, we'll get it out to you.
All of these events should be familiar except for the Tuesday night
tournament. This tournament will be the inverse of the structure
that used to be used for the WSOP HORSE event a few years ago.
We will play a No-Limit Hold'em Shootout, with the table winners
playing Limit HORSE.
The "second chance" NLH tournament held Friday night will have payment
and registration on-site on a first-come first-served basis with limited
seating.
