I thought it was kind of odd/poetic/whatever that this weekend the film
LBJ is being released. Also being released is the film
LADY BIRD.

According to Rottentomatoes, LADY BIRD is 100% fresh while LBJ is only
51% fresh.

The critics continue to love Greta Gerwig.

But "Lady Bird" has nothing at all to do with LBJ's wife.

I saw the "Lady Bird" trailer for the first time just yesterday. I'm not particularly interested in
the subject matter, though the critics love the movie. All through the trailer, the teen girl kept
going on about wanting to go to Harvard or Yale; I bet that's going to turn off a lot of moviegoers..
