Everyone knows that the number four means death in Asian cultures,
but did you know eight means fullfillment and bliss? Well, it
does! And there are TWO eights in todays date...

They are dancing in the streets all over easten Asia. What's your
 plans for the 18/8/8?

Your post is dated 19 Jan 2018 on my monitor, and read on the 19th
local time, so I guess I missed the chance at fulfillment and bliss.

And it's the Jewish year 5778. Assuming you are right about the Asian
year, it means Jews only had to wait 3,217 years until we could eat
Chinese food.

As one who lived in Asia for 10 years and in Israel for five+ years, I
can confidently state that Chinese food that approximates authenticity
is not, and cannot be made, kosher. Take away pork, oyster sauce, and
all shellfish. Imagine Italian food without pasta and tomatoes.

I was in China and asked if they had any Jews there.

I was solemnly informed there were very many.

Including orange juice, apple juice, pineapple juice ...

ta-dum!

In the USA government workers pay taxes at the same rate as other
employed persons.

I have been to vegetarian Chinese restaurants with some Chinese people
who were vegetarians. They assured me that the vegetarian pork and
chicken tasted like the real thing. They told me that they had always
been vegetarians I could never bring myself to ask them how they knew it
tasted like the real thing.

Well, you can with no doubt cook tasty non meat Chinese, Italian and
Scandinavian meals without the use of meat substitutes. I wouldn't know
about British though...

Yes it can mean bad luck or death, I foirst found this out when I allocated cupboard 44 to a chinese
student, she didn't seem to like the idea so I ask her what cupboard number she'd like and she chose
the next closest cupboard which was 38. I'd also allow anyone that didn't want cupboard 13 to have
another number of they wished, but with limited number of cupboards not evetyone can have their
prefered or not prefered number.

for me pretty much the same as 14/4/4 and similar on friday 13th.

I find it strange that people have lucky and unlucky numbers.
